Laugh-Inducing Literature

I could spend waaaayyyyyy too much money on Kindle books. I'm glad there's some free ones available.

Having one of those crummy days when you realize that you need to spend some serious down time? Want to curl up with a book that will lift your spirits?

Louisiana Longshot (A Miss Fortune Mystery) by Jana Deleon has provided the best snort-producing belly laugh I've had in awhile.

Ahhh. I love reading books by people that are even sillier than I am.

Here's one of my favorite passages:
....Gertie kicked Ida Belle under the table and she lifted her gaze to mine.
"I'm sorry I made you ride naked in my car wearing a trash bag," she said, not sounding the least bit sorry.
The book is about a young CIA agent that goes undercover in a small town in Louisiana and is befriended by two feisty senior citizens, Gertie and Ida Belle.

If you like quick-read, lighthearted mysteries, you'll love this one. I got it on Amazon as a free Kindle download, here.

Thank you for the free kindle book info. I spend a lot of time reading on my kindle. Sometimes I just don't feel like doing anything else.

Thank you for the freebie....not too many free things in life, so I will definitely look into this story. Anything for a good read or a good laugh.

Kindle books are my nemesis! That's where most of my fun money goes for sure. And I always love a good cozy mystery. Thanks for the free recommendation.
